    Scence Natural Skincare is developed and hand crafted in Penryn, Cornwall using only natural, vegan and cruelty free ingredients that are kind of the skin and planet!

    Care

    Please look after your product by storing it in a cool, dry place. Our natural balms will soften in warm temperatures above 35 degrees but will become firm again if cooled.

    Use your balm within 12 months of purchase.

    These key ingredients are what makes Scence fantastic for your skin, leaving it feeling super soft and smooth with added nourishment:

    Mango Seed Butter – skin softening, soothing & moisturising properties. It helps to combat dry skin, eczema and dermatitis. It is helpful in protecting the skin from the weather and UV radiation and is said to be effective at reducing fine lines and wrinkles. It contains anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-ageing properties, is non-greasy and absorbs easily into the skin.

    Coconut Oil – is a wonderful moisturiser and has anti-bacterial properties so we use this in our deodorants and body balms to soften the skin and add a silky glide on application. Certified organic by the Organic Soil Association.

    Jojoba oil – offers hydrating and sebum-balancing properties. It is has a light texture and is compatible with all skin types and has natural antibacterial properties to help keep skin clear and healthy. Certified organic by the Soil Association.

    Scents (Includes Essential Oils):

    Cedar Fresh – Blended with cedarwood, frankincense and elemi essential oil for a warming and earthy scent.

    Cool Rose – Blended with rose geranium essential oil, giving a strong floral scent.

    Clary Sage – Blended with clary sage, ylang ylang and vanilla essential oil for an uplifting floral scent.

    Packaging

    Scence have been working with a UK packaging producer for the last four years to develop and perfect their paper tubes.. They are fully compostable tubes with a food grade greaseproof inner lining to protect and preserve the balms.

    None of the processes involved in their manufacture involves animal products and we have ensured everything we include in our packaging is vegan friendly.

    You can compost or recycle the containers or plant some herbs and use them as seedling pots.

    Your paper container tube or jar may darken with the natural oils of your balm as you use it, developing a deeper patina. This is normal and doesn’t affect the quality of your balm.
